Branco, cor ou textura

Fundo Branco

Muitas vezes o melhor fundo para dar destaque ao seu desenho, é justamente o branco do papel. É comum na hora de ilustrar pensar em cores ou texturas para o fundo do trabalho numa forma de valorizar o resultado final. No entanto, muitas das vezes o branco ou a cor do papel escolhido é a melhor opção.

Nos exemplos abaixo, ambas as ilustrações foram feitas sobre papel MI-Teintes da “Canson”  180gr e o resultado disto é que a própria textura e cor do papel acabam por valorizar o resultado final. Desenhei com Ecoline e Polychromos em ambas ilustrações.

White, color or texture

White background

Often the best background to highlight your drawing, is precisely the white of the paper. It is common to illustrate thinking of colors or textures to the bottom of the work in a way to value the final result. However, often the white or the color of the paper chosen is the best option.

In the examples above, both illustrations were done on MI-Teintes da “Canson” 180gr paper and the result of this is that the very texture and color of the paper end up valuing the final result. I drew with Ecoline and Polychromos in both illustrations.

Polychromos, o lápis de cor que faz a diferença

 

Dentre as opções de lápis de cor existentes no mercado, o Polychromos da Faber Castell acaba se destacando dos demais por permitir sobreposição de cores e uma cobertura mais densa. Isto, auxilia de modo eficaz em trabalhos de hiper-realismo. Apesar de não ser aquarelável, a sua luminosidade contribui e muito na hora de fazer efeitos luminosos e sombreados. Além de tudo, é possível encontrar diversos sites de venda especializada de material para desenho, que comercializam toda a paleta de cores com venda individual ou em estojos o que facilita a reposição das cores mais utilizadas. Funciona bem, tanto em papéis lisos quanto em texturizados.

No trabalho abaixo, o papel escolhido foi o Debret e o início da ilustração neste caso, veio do plano de fundo com o primeiro limão até o lettering em primeiro plano. É possível ver na sequência, uma base de fundo de cor feito com Ecoline Talens, o que ajuda e muito na velocidade de execução do trabalho. Já o lettering foi feito com canetas UniPOSCA.

 

Polychromos, the colored pencil that makes the difference

Among the options of color pencils on the market, the Polychromos of Faber Castell stands out from the others for allowing overlapping colors and a dense cover. This effectively aids in hyper-realism work. Although it is not water-soluble, its luminosity contributes a lot to the time to make luminous and shaded effects. In addition, it is possible to find several specialized sale sites for drawing material, which commercialize the whole color palette with individual sale or in cases, which facilitates the replacement of the most used colors. It works well on both plain and textured papers. 

In the work below, the chosen paper was Debret and the beginning of the illustration in this case came from the background with the first lemon up to the lettering in the foreground. It is possible to see in the sequence, a base of color made with Ecoline Talens, which helps and much in the speed of execution of the work. The lettering was done with UniPOSCA pens.

Um recurso a mais 

 

O aerógrafo convencional, sempre foi uma ferramenta poderosa nas mãos de um ilustrador. Nos exemplos que seguem ele serviu como uma forma de criar um fundo desfocado ampliando o efeito de realismo ao trabalho. O papel escolhido foi o “MI Teintes da Canson” 200gr com uso de “Ecoline” e “Polychromos”.

One more feature

Conventional airbrush has always been a powerful tool in the hands of an illustrator. In the examples that follow it served as a way to create a blurred background by extending the effect of realism to work. The paper chosen was the "MI Teintes da Canson" 200gr with use of "Ecoline" and "Polychromos".
