Another master of illustration

Another veteran in the illustrate art who stays in the active with a wonderful job. On his web site and on other webpages, you can see the incredible talent of this artist who continues to delight everyone with his art.

His talent illustrated hundreds of book covers and novels. Also known as Bob Berran, he also illustrated religious themes and portraits.

Michael Silver

Talento de sobra

Entre muitos ilustradores de respeito no cenário mundial, o nome de Michael Silver não poderia ficar de fora da lista. Um artista americano que teve várias exposições em galerias e museus, inclusive no Honolulu Museum of Art. Teve seu ápice criativo nos anos 20. Infelizmente não encontrei nenhuma biografia mais detalhada sobre este incrível ilustrador.

Seus trabalhos com as "Pin Ups" fizeram história e até hoje são cobiçados em galerias de arte. Conheça um pouco do trabalho deste artista

Talent to spare

Among many respected illustrators on the world stage, Michael Silver's name could not be left out of the list. An American artist who has had several exhibitions in galleries and museums, including the Honolulu Museum of Art. He had his creative pinnacle in the 1920s. Unfortunately I have not found any more detailed biography of this amazing illustrator.

His works with "Pin Ups" have made history and to this day are coveted in art galleries. Get to know some of the work of this artist

Assim como Loomis e Rockwell, ele também fez história. Ilustrador com um talento impressionante, Anderson foi outro especialista em retratar o "The american way of life". William Andrew Loomis, mais conhecido como Andrew Loomis. Seu trabalho comercial de destaque esteve proeminentemente em publicidade e revistas; no entanto, Loomis é melhor conhecido como autor de uma série de livros de arte didáticos impressos pela primeira vez no século 20. Mesmo depois de sua morte, sua abordagem realista continuou a influenciar diversos artistas.

A editora Titan Books relançou os livros de Loomis como edições facsimile entre 2011 e 2013. Antes disto, os livros em questão estiveram esgotados durante décadas, disponíveis somente como excertos pela Walter Foster Publishing. Alguns dos livros de Loomis estão sendo atualmente publicados em japonês via Maar Sha Co., Ltd. Impressões anteriores tornaram-se item de colecionador e são procuradas por entusiastas e profissionais na área artística.

William Andrew Loomis, better known as Andrew Loomis. His prominent commercial work was prominently in advertising and magazines; however, Loomis is best known as the author of a number of didactic art books first printed in the 20th century. Even after his death, his realistic approach continued to influence various artists.

The publisher Titan Books relaunched Loomis's books as facsimile editions between 2011 and 2013. Prior to this, the books in question were out of print for decades, available only as excerpts from Walter Foster Publishing. Some of Loomis's books are currently being published in Japanese via Maar Sha Co., Ltd. Previous prints have become collector's item and are sought after by enthusiasts and professionals in the artistic field.

Currently, all of Loomis's books are available for sale by Titan Books - except The Eye of the Painter

Conheçam um pouco do meu trabalho

 

Ilustrador com mais de 30 anos de carreira. Fui professor de desenho artístico e publicitário no Instituto Técnico OBERG(RJ). Experiência em 3D e vectores.

Trabalhei em agências de publicidade no Rio de Janeiro e Curitiba. Entre elas a Norton, Publicidade Certa, Opus & Múltipla, Umuarama e Dep. de Marketting do HSBC.

Na Revista Veja fui ilustrador e infografista durante 11 anos. Finalista 8 vezes do Prêmio Abril de Jornalismo das quais, 4 vezes premiado. Ainda na Editora Abril, ilustrei infos para as revistas: Mundo Estranho, Superinteressante e Saúde.

Publiquei workshops de ilustrações digitais, nas Revistas Publish e Design Gráfico.

Know some of my work

Illustrator with more than 30 years of career. I was professor of artistic design and publicity at the OBERG Technical Institute (RJ). Experience in 3D and vectors.

I worked in advertising agencies in Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba. Among them are Norton, Right Ad, Opus & Multiple, Umuarama and HSBC Marketting Dep.

In Veja magazine I was an illustrator and computer designer for 11 years. Finalist 8 times of the April Prize of Journalism of which, 4 times awarded. Also in Editora Abril, I illustrated infos for the magazines: Mundo Estranho, Superinteressante e Saúde.

I published digital illustrations workshops in Publish Magazines and Graphic Design.
