Quando usar cada uma
Aquarela sempre será uma técnica fascinante e com um efeito visual realmente leve e luminoso. Nas ilustras que seguem eu utilizei diferentes midias, no caso da “cena marinha” trabalhei com Ecoline da Talens que é uma aquarela líquida sobre
papel Fabriano 150gr, já no ilustra do meu “cachorro” preferi trabalhar com a aquarela em pastilhas da
Schmincke no mesmo papel e gramatura.
O que podemos observar como diferença fundamental, é que na líquida o resultado ficou mais realista e no caso da aquarela convencional em pastilhas o efeito foi o de um traço mais solto, que sugere mais do que detalha. Dizer que uma é melhor do que a outra seria uma grande injustiça. Tudo depende do tema e do efeito final que você deseja dar ao seu trabalho.

When to use each one
Watercolor will always be a fascinating technique with a really light and luminous visual effect. In
the illustrations above I used different media, in the case of the
"marine scene" I worked with Ecoline of the Talens which is a liquid
watercolor on paper Fabriano 150gr, already illustrates of my "dog" I
preferred to work with the watercolor in Schmincke tablets in the same paper and weight.
What
we can observe as a fundamental difference is that in liquid the result
was more realistic and in the case of conventional watercolor in
tablets the effect was that of a loose trait, which suggests more than
details. To say that one is better than the other would be a great injustice. It all depends on the theme and the final effect you want to give to your work.
